Synergy CTS was awarded a second “Best Smart Home” Sand Dollar at the CBIA gala last month, this time in the $1- $1.25 million category. Located in Livingston Woods, this home is full of life with a busy family coming and going throughout the day. The home needed to be fun, yet functional for daily use and activities. Although we chose to only enter the smart home category, it would have also been easy to submit it in Best Home Theater, with it’s trendy family room style and bold home theater sound.
This Savant Control System integrates audio, video, camera, security & fire, and networking. The family/media room includes a 75” Sony Z9 television, 7.1 Marantz surround sound system with a custom James soundbar and acoustic sound deadening material throughout. The video matrix distribution system and 12 room distributed audio pieces are located in the centralized equipment rack along with a Kaleidescape movie server, apple TV, network components and WiFi devices. The Middle Atlantic equipment rack is built and programmed off site, rolled into the client’s home and connected through our custom patch panel. This allowed our techs to spend less time in the client’s home with minimal impact to their lifestyle.
